Concealed Carry
Are you right handed or left handed?
Right
What features does this gun have that appealed to you?
Love the simplicity of a revolver. This gun feels great in the hand and is a nice weight and size for carry.
Tell us about shooting this gun:
Despite the short barrel, this gun is remarkably accurate. I hit what I aim at. Except when I flinch from the recoil.
How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?
I put Hogue grips on to accomodate my larger hands. The sights could be better, especially for someone who wears trifocles. Easy to load and clean. There is a good kick and I would not shoot .357 in for that reason. But .38 and .38+P is doable. Trigger pull is about 13 pounds unless you cock it. Which is what I do for accuracy. The heavy trigger pull is your safety.
How reliable is it?
Incredibly reliable.
Any problems with any type of ammunition?
None, other than above mentioned recoil.
Was it easy to take down and clean?
Revolvers are pretty simple. Nothing to take apart
Would you recommend this gun?
Yes
For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?
If you are looking for a reliable, simple to operate carry gun that has enough power to get the job done, this is a great choice. It is a work horse, not my first choice for fun target shooting but definitely my first choice for concealed carry.
