What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

The slide on the Sig P320 is relatively easy to rack. I have quite a bit of weakness in both of my hands and the slide on this gun does not present a challenge for me. The grip texture on this gun works well for me. I have heard the texture described as a “fine sandpaper.” The grip fits my hand nicely (I have larger hands for a female). I do like the 15 round magazine capacity.

Tell us about shooting this gun.

This Sig P320 is fabulous to shoot. The trigger is smooth and crisp. It is extremely reliable. I believe I have had only one malfunction in the 2 years that I’ve owned it. The malfunction was an error in this user’s grip. Many people comment that the trigger on this gun is “heavy” but I disagree. How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?

The Sig P320 Nitron Compact has almost no recoil. My hands do not get tired when I’m at the range with it.

How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties,slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)

The Sig P320 Nitron Compact fits my hands beautifully. The slide is easy to rack. The magazine release is each to reach and the trigger is smooth and crisp.

Do you like the sights on this gun?

I personally like the stock sights.

How reliable is it?

In the 2 years I have owned the Sig P320 Nitron compact it has been 99.9% reliable. The other .1% was entirely a user error/issue with grip.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

I have not found any ammo that the P320 dislikes. It chews up and spits out whatever I load.

Was it easy to take down and clean?

The P320 is extremely easy to take down and clean. I had carried a Glock for years (and still do). Glocks do not mind being dirty, but they do like a lot of oil. The Sig P320 likes to be cleaned regularly, but does NOT like an excessive amount of oil.

Is there anything you dislike about shooting this gun?

Thus far, I like everything about the P320. It has received various negative press, but I have personally never experienced any issue with it.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

Read all available info on the gun and then rent one and give it a try at the range. A firearm is a significant investment so choose the right one for you.

Would you recommend this gun? If no, do you have a preferred gun?

I love the Sig P320 and would recommend it.
