Tell us about shooting this gun.
Striker fired. Nice trigger. Small enough for concealed carry. I can be accurate up to 20 feet.
Please share: How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?
Love the striker fire for light trigger pull. There’s some kick to it because it’s a small handgun. It fits my hand well. I think the sites are too small. I might put new sites on it someday. Racking the slide was a little hard at first when new, but it has loosened up some. And I’ve gotten used to it.
How reliable is it?
Very reliable. It’s only jammed a couple times out of maybe 2,000 rounds. I’ve taken it to the range many times.
Any problems with any type of ammunition?
No. I’ve used realizing it at the range without a problem.
What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?
There’s nothing I dislike about it.
Was it easy to take down and clean? Please share.
Yes. I watched a video on how to clean it from the Ruger website.
Would you recommend this gun?
Yes
For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?
It was my first pistol. I’ve taken the time to get used to it and now I don’t like anything that is NOT striker fired. Just a matter of personal preference. It’s still my favorite concealed carry.
