Are you right handed or left handed? Right
What features does this gun have that appealed to you?
I was very drawn to this gun because it has no hammer, which I feel makes it easy to conceal. It is light weight.
Tell us about shooting this gun:
I was never a revolver girl until I tried my son’s Ruger 357. It is very comfortable to shoot, however I do have my hubby load a lighter round for practicing.
How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?
The grip on the gun is very comfortable and fits nice in my small hands. I did upgrade my sights, trigger pull is smooth. The recoil isn’t to bad but I do use a lighter round with target practice to lessen the sting. I like the revolver very easy to use. I do also carry a Kimber solo and the rack is super difficult to slide….so I carry my ruger more.
How reliable is it? This is very reliable, accurate handgun, even straight out of the box.
Any problems with any type of ammunition? None.
Does this gun have any specific ammunition requirements? If so, please explain:38 special, plus p.
What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?I have no dislikes or complaints with my ruger!
Was it easy to take down and clean? No real “take down” makes cleaning a breeze.
Would you recommend this gun? Yes
For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?
This is a lightweight accurate easy to conceal handgun. Fits well in smaller hands.
Anything else you would like to share about the gun?
I enjoy the ease of the trigger and the concealability.
