We have an under-utilized group on this site for Realtors, real estate agents, brokers, property managers and agency owners. If you’re just checking in to this site or just catching up and you fall into this category, we could use your participation in this group!
Those of us who represent clients/the public in the myriad areas encompassed in the real estate industry, have inherent dangers in our jobs. The very performance of our jobs can place us in harm’s way – meeting strangers, showing vacant properties, declining prospects as clients/tenants, performing property management duties, hosting open houses to people we don’t know, even arriving at or locking up after showings.
I have just been invited to help moderate this group, so I will strive to build the topic/discussion base over the next several days and in coming months. Ours is a vital industry and sharing info in the area of self-defense, so we can pursue our roles with confidence, should be exciting. Heck, hopefully we’ll network/refer to each other in the future!
My brief bio: Florida Real Estate Broker and Agency Owner of boutique agency specializing in cashflow investment property and REO’s (foreclosures) since the ’90’s. Owner/landlord/property manager of 21 rental properties. I’ve been held up at gunpoint, had my car broken into, had to threaten to bodily remove non-performing and addicted tenants, and ventured into more than one foreclosed property as crackheads were running out the back door.
CWP holder for 2 decades and found IWB or purse carry absolutely impossible in my day-to-day activities! See Realtor group topics for more on that!
So please join our group and let’s share to solve and prevent problems we experience in our role!
