What Can We Learn?
This is such a scary story. Why? It hits so close to home. It makes you think about your own vulnerability which is why it is so important to think about. This happens all over the country, all over the world. People like to think they are safe and “this would never happen to me”. Well, hopefully, you are right. But in the off chance that you find yourself as a target for a home invasion, do what you can to PREVENT it. Don’t leave your doors open. Criminals are opportunists and will attack when they have the chance. Doing simple things like closing and locking doors are easy deterrents.
