Women’s Shooting Group Comes to Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY • A new chapter of the Well Armed Woman’s shooting group will be coming to Apple Valley soon, according to a news release.

Local gun enthusiast Patricia Johnson will spearhead the Apple Valley Shooting Chapter, helping to organize monthly events open to all women 21 years or older, the release states.

The group has partnered with the Rancho Magnum Range to help the members learn safe gun handling skills and time on the range, according to the release.

The first shooting event will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Rancho Magnum Range, 9049 Ninth St. in Rancho Cucamonga.

The annual membership fee for the Apple Valley chapter is $50. Participants are required to also pay any applicable range fees and costs of ammunition or firearm rentals. First time attendees are not required to join, the release states.
