What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

Hi capacity, it’s big and scary looking. The bad guys will be afraid of you. The name is well recognized, the value will never decrease, people like this gun. I get cash offers for it on the spot at gun shows.

Tell us about shooting this gun:

It kicks like a mule. It practically twists my wrists off. Jumps out of my hand.

How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?

It doesn’t. It’s too big for my hands. It hurts when I pull the trigger because the ergonomics are bad. It’s hard to rack the slide. I’m a little afraid of this gun. The sights are good. The trigger has a long pull and it doesn’t break very well. I squeeze the trigger and I cant tell when the thing is going to fire. It’s crazy accurate.

How reliable is it?

It’s not. It jams about every 5th bullet.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

I haven’t found one yet that the gun likes.

Does this gun have any specific ammunition requirements? If so, please explain:

No, just use 9’s.

What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?

The recoil! It about snaps my wrist off. This is a good gun for a man, not a women’s gun!

Was it easy to take down and clean?

Yes, very easy to take apart and clean.

Would you recommend this gun?

No.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

If you are a big man, this is a great gun, but not for women. I think the jamming problems I’m having with this weapon is caused because of the recoil. I cant hold it steady enough. A guy could probably fire it no problem. But it’s too much gun for me.

Anything else you would like to share about the gun?

It will bring me a good price. I plan to sell it. S&W is a good weapon, just not for me.
