Left Handed

What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

All ambidextrous!!! Go lefty’s !!!!

Tell us about shooting this gun.

Well this firearm is my racer. My 1st full size. And he has been used at front site, Steel Challenge, Action Pistol, IDPA and USPSA. He’s been and is a great firearm.

How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?

Since changing out the barrel from a 4” to 5” pretty smooth. The 4” can be a little bit hard for a beginner but once they have a few hours understanding recoil management it is a dream.

How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties, slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)

Perfection – nice thing on M&P’s is the select a size hand grip. Great for us girls with a bit smaller hands or larger!!

Do you like the sights on this gun?

The original that came with the gun were great. I have gone with a red dot on mine.

How reliable is it?

Very reliable – he has to be really really dirty to not fire.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

Any and all new and reloads

Was it easy to take down and clean?

Yes the best!!!

Is there anything you dislike about shooting this gun?

Trigger – M&P’s have had the reputation of having not the best Trigger and have had to put a new apex trigger on after the 1st broke at a IDPA class. But of course he had already have several thousands of rounds shot with no problems

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

Buy it !!!

Would you recommend this gun? If no, do you have a preferred gun?

Absolutely

I was wondering if this was good for concealed carry and if so, about what price range does this fall into?
