What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

I love the size of this pistol, the caliber, the capacity, and the ambidextrous manual safety.

Tell us about shooting this gun.

I was really surprised when I shot this pistol. I have small hands and often have trouble handling the recoil of pistols. But this pistol has run flawlessly for me! Also, given its size, I expected it to have a bite. But it doesn’t! The slide is heavy enough that it does not hurt. I can only shoot about 50 rounds before my hands start shaking, but I honestly expected to be only able to shoot one magazine in a sitting.

How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?

It is manageable. I can hit fairly accurately when I take my time… and I am not a good pistol shot.

How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties, slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)

It fits my hand perfectly! My hands are small enough that I do not need the extended mag to have all my fingers on the grip. But the extension can be nice. The safety has a nice, crisp feel to it. The mag release can also be swapped for left-handed usage. I recommend looking at a video online on how to do it. The directions in the manual weren’t clear enough for me.

Do you like the sights on this gun?

Yes! They are the Sig night sights.

How reliable is it?

It has run very well for me!

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

No problems so far. The only thing is that the striker drags on the primer.

Was it easy to take down and clean?

Yes, though I admit to having my husband’s help with that.

Is there anything you dislike about shooting this gun?

Just that my hand gets tired after about 50 rounds.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

I would tell them the gun is totally worth getting, and to check out the p365xl as well.

Would you recommend this gun? If no, do you have a preferred gun?

Yes, totally recommend it!
