How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?
Slight recoil, but it is definitely manageable.
How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties,slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)
See above. Slide pull is slightly difficult, which is fit to a weak left hand/wrist.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?
This is an amazing carry. Fits well in my small 74 yr old hands, easily concealed, accurate, and I feel safer with it. I recommend it to my friends (and their husbands when they are choosing a gun for their wife if it’s her first gun). Love my Sig Sauer P238

This is my preferred gun. Yes. I recommend it.
I too have the Sig Sauer P238 and love the little gun. It’s a great gun to plink with and easy to conceal. Racking is not a problem. I do find cleaning it to be a little bit of a pain in the neck from the standpoint of having to Rack it back and be able to hold it while pulling the pin out. For me, my hands are quite weak and I don’t find this to be an easy task. I still would buy the gun however, as it is a favorite of mine. Mine is a little rainbow. I carry this particular gun in the summer and when I am not wearing heavier clothes because it doesn’t print so much. During the winter or when I am wearing heavier clothes, I prefer to carry my 9MM Sig Sauer P365X with a green dot.
I have a P238 and 938 and I love both! They are easy to handle in my smaller hands as well…I also have some arthritis in my hands but handle these with no issues!
