Are You Right or Left Handed?

Right

What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

Safety! This thing is loaded with safety features such as ambi mag release and safety lock. Added feature- grip safety! Now on to the fun stuff- it’s a 1911 style, only smaller!

Tell us about shooting this gun.

This gun is so much fun to shoot! So incredibly smooth and accurate. Still feels powerful, so you know you’ll be protected by it. My first time shooting I had a grouping of about 6 inches and the more I became familiar the tighter the grouping. I put 200 rounds through it on the first day. So much fun! I previously owned the Ruger lc9s and couldn’t get over the snappy bite of shooting it. Plus, the slide was dang near impossible for me to operate safely. I’m not a small weak woman, either. This Browning is a complete dream to shoot in comparison.

Please share: How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?

Fits my hand perfectly. Everything about it feels good. Sights? Mmm, they’re black fixed sights. Unfortunate but a little dab of sight paint and problem solved. You can purchase certain models with painted sights but that comes at a premium. Ridiculous.  Trigger pull is short and very sweet. The slide is super easy. My hands never tired shooting this gun. So much fun!

How reliable is it?

Seems to be highly reliable. I’ve used a lot of different brands and loads through this gun.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

Only one (a very cheap) brand did this gun not love. Twice out of 50 rounds did it misfire/jam. Not a huge problem. I put 250 rounds of Remington brand through and not a single problem.

What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?

Wish it came with more than one mag. Come on Browning!

Was it easy to take down and clean? Please share.

It’s a 1911 styling so takedown is easy and is easy to clean and reassemble. At first I thought it was strange but after that it went quick

Would you recommend this gun?

Yes

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

This gun just feels like it’s a high-quality weapon when shooting. Really, no recoil but still powerful enough to protect you. I would buy this gun over and over again. As a matter of fact, after my husband shot a couple of mags through, he purchased his own!

Anything else you would like to share about the gun?

Pricey piece, so hold out for the deals, they’re out there.

Bought the compact last week, took it apart, cleaned and oiled then visited the range. Mine came with two mags and white dot sites. What an amazing pistol to shoot! Mild recoil, accurate, fit my hand perfect and functioned 100 percent with American Eagle 95 grain and Hornady hollow points. Thinking about purchasing this pistol? I highly recommend and this pistol will also be comfortable to carry. Thanks Browning!!!
