Right Handed

What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

The Green Dot sights are great and make it easy for me to see in dim light and placing it in covered holsters like the one in my purse so I have control of barrel direction at all times. It’s lightweight and easy to conceal. Recoil is friendly and I love the way this gun shoots. It’s easy to get apart, and it’s easy to use the safety.

Tell us about shooting this gun.

I loved shooting this gun. I put 50 rounds in it as fast as possible because I needed to carry it immediately and didn’t want to go into the street without shooting it. It was a blast. With the wind, and sun in my eyes, I hit the target in the 10-inch marks and after 25 rounds started getting rounds through each other in the center and 5-inch group. Only 4 shots went wild into the outer parts of the target, but it was windy and the targets were paper. Recoil isn’t bad. My hands are small and I have arthritis in them. It was easy to rack the slide and reload the magazines into the gun. I loved shooting this gun. It’s my street carry now.

How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?

Recoil is controllable and easy to realign on target with just a little grip practice. I have shot Springfield XD 9mm and .45 for years…..this recoil was nice and easy to control. My hands and wrists didn’t hurt after firing rounds as fast as possible and firing left to right with two side by side targets. Recoil was easy to manage.

How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties, slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)

The gun fits great for small hands and wrists. The safety needs to be worked to loosen it up. The slide lock is sticky and hard to use the first couple of times but when you strip it down and put it back together like you are cleaning it, and you put some rounds through it everything loosens up. It tears down easy, goes back easy. Mag release is a large button and easy to use. One downside is the Magazines are tight and getting them loaded to capacity is difficult. I didn’t mind the 10 round capacity over the +1 that gives you a longer grip. Didn’t even notice the difference the gun grips so well. Using an Uplula fixes the stiff loading, but it may get easier after putting more rounds through. The trigger is smooth, no bounce, not too short or long of a pull.

Do you like the sights on this gun?

Loved the Green Dot sights and straight out of the box brand new mine was accurate.

How reliable is it?

Put 50 rounds through as fast as I could reload and load. It was windy, wasn’t using USPSA or IDPA targets just paper targets bought the local Sportsman store. It was very reliable. No stovepipes, no failure to feed. No bad ejections and went to slide lock and dropped mag before the last bullet and reloaded, no issues.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

I used Remington 9 mm ammunition and there were no issues. Used Winchester last and no issues.

Was it easy to take down and clean?

Yes. Striker fire breakdown and reassembly.

Is there anything you dislike about shooting this gun?

Nothing. Just trying to find the right fit for concealed carry holster. Not many out except through custom companies but it fits in my purse I bought from you. Going to try your belly band.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

I recommend it. It’s as nice as the S&W Shield. It’s light, easy to conceal and handle with all the firepower of a full-size gun.

Would you recommend this gun? If no, do you have a preferred gun?

I recommend it!
