Finding the right holster can be a daunting task. You are going to have so many important questions. “Will it fit my body?” “Is it comfortable?” “Will my gun fit?” “I’m a lefty, will this work for me?” “What about when I change clothing styles… will I be able to change my carry position?” The Well Armed Woman’s new Comfort Carry Belly Band will make you answer “YES!” to all of these questions!

Will this belly band fit my body?

Wrap and corset holsters can be extremely frustrating! Why? Because the sizing can be a challenge. If it is a corset type of wrap with only two rows of hook and eye, there is just no way to get the precise fit you want. If it is a traditional belly band, there is only a 4″ square to secure the Velcro panel, leaving you with a limited range of fit. I know, this issue has been difficult to fix but I really think this belly band will revolutionize wrap holsters. Seriously! One of my absolute favorite things about this holster is the sizing! There are only 3 sizes A, B, and C. Each Comfort Carry Belly Band size is also customizable. If necessary, you can easily remove any excess panels for the perfect size. There will also be NO fraying of the band that can happen from the Velcro on the typical belly band material!

The Comfort Carry Belly Band has 3 to 4 panels along the end that you can remove to fit your body exactly. If you need the full length, great, you don’t have to remove any of the material. If you need your band to be a little smaller, just cut off the excess fabric and you’re ready to go.

It also has a large zippered pocket which allows you to carry your phone, cash, ID and more. This allows you to carry your essentials with no need for a purse!

Is this really the most comfortable belly band?

Each of us is so unique and we each must find holsters that work for ourselves. However, The Well Armed Woman has worked hard to develop a band that is soft, flexible, offers great gun retention and sits as comfortably as possible in the “Sweet Spot” for concealed carry (your mid-section). The fabric is pliable but strong so your gun will be secure while  allowing you to move freely without discomfort. The side seams are hemmed with a smooth silky fabric preventing the discomfort that comes from the “sharper” edges of the traditional belly band when you bend and shift.

I am telling you, it is worth a try!

for comfort and versatility!"

Will my gun fit?

I’m tempted to just say “yes” and move on without any explanation, but I won’t do that! In short, the Comfort Carry Belly Band is made to accommodate most hand guns and will most likely fit any gun that you might use for concealed carry. The two holster pockets are almost universal. I have put anything from a little Sig P238 to a full-size 1911 in the holster pocket with no issues at all. The removable retention straps will hold your gun in place so you can be worry free.

I’m a lefty… can I use this belly band?

Southpaws are going to love this belly band! All of these bands have two ambidextrous gun holsters and two magazine holsters, one of each on each side. You can use a standard draw or cross-draw and use either your left or right hand. You don’t even have to worry about shopping for and choosing the “left-handed” option or worry about them not being in stock at other stores.

What about clothing options? Can I wear this with more than jeans and a belt?

Other than the ability to really customize the size of this ultra-comfortable belly band, my favorite feature is its versatility! This holster is literally 4 holsters in one, not to mention the ability to rotated this band to the perfect position for you. Wear this band with almost anything! High-waisted jeans? Wear your belly band mid-torso. Tank top and shorts? Move the belly band to your hips for an IWB carry locatoin. Works with skirts too! “V” neck shirt? Wear it high and centered with your bra to take advantage of the natural hiding spot under your breasts with easy acces through the “V” neck of your shirt. Wear it high and rotated under your arm for underarm carry.

You can wear the belly band comfortably in almost any position on your torso; high or low, appendix or lower back, underarm… anywhere. Because it adds minimal bulk, you can wear many different styles and fabrics!

Another BIG plus is no more fraying. Belly bands are notorious for “pilling” and getting damaged by constantly fastening and unfastening the velcro. The 3 mm neoprene is resistant to damage so you can readjust your belly bands time and time again without damaging the fabric!

Anyone who has a holster that you wear on your clothing may have experienced the dreaded bathroom problem. What do you do with your gun? Some of us are skilled enough to keep it from falling to the ground with our pants, but let’s face it, this is an issue… except when you’re carrying in the Comfort Carry Belly Band that is.

Is it really worth it?

In a nut shell: This is one of the most versatile and comfortable holsters on the market. Anyone can use this band, women and men. It will carry any concealed carry gun and extra magazines so you will always be prepared. When you change your outfit you can shift your holster to the perfect position. No need for a belt of jeans. You can customize your band to fit your body without worrying about what size you need to buy.

You will not regret buying this holster!

How would this fit a Ruger LCR revolver with 1.87″ barrel?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hi Vanessa,
The comfort carry belly band is not a great fit for revolvers, however, our lace belly band would work for you.

  2. Kathy says:

I have a small frame 5’3 115 lbs what size would work best for me?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hi Kathy,
The smallest size is Size A – this will probably work for you. We do have measurements on the product page. Comfort Carry Belly Band

  3. Angela says:

How wide are the holster pockets? I’m wondering if it will fit with my current trigger guard. I have a hellcat, so mid-size. I’m hoping so, this band looks perfect!
    Thanks!

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

Hi Angela, the holster pockets are 3 1/4″ wide.

  4. sold says:

Will it fit a 43 in. waist?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hello,
Yes, it will! I would suggest a size A for a 43 waist.

I am looking for a belly band that I can customize a little more. I like this concept, however I dont want my extra magazines on the same side as the holster? The one I currently wear i use one of your holster in with the ulti clip for trigger guard protection and stability of the gun, but a the mag pouches are on the same side as the gun. I need them on the other side. I would be happy to talk to someone about my ideas.

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hi Keli,
We have mag pouches in two different areas on the belt. This way you wear your gun on one side and the mags on the other. We do not recommend wearing the mags on the same side of the gun as it can interfere with the draw. Thanks for the question!

  6. Katherine Spruell says:

Will it fit a 38 special revolver?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hello,
Yes, we did test fit with a SW J-frame revolver but it is snug! Just a reminder, our holster pockets are tight to aid in retention so it is best to holster first, then put on the belly band.

  7. Julie Hendrix says:

I see the material is soft and flexible, which is great. However does it have any inner supports to keep it from rolling up? Being plus size, my current 4 inch bands roll up to about 1 inch ropes on my sides. Very uncomfortable, especially while driving. Did you have any curvy girls try this, lol?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hi Julie,
We do have a review on our Comfort Carry Belly Band product page addressing this question it reads: “Janna Walden (verified owner) – December 21, 2019
Do I like this? So far so good. I’m a tall curvy girl and I was concerned this wouldn’t work with my, ummm, curves and “rolls.” I have to say it feels amazing. It is very comfortable. Imprinting seems impossible as the weapon sits in the hollow curve of my abdomen/waist and just under and to the side of my breast. It feels good standing, walking, sitting. No sweating. Soft. Smooth. No gaping or rolling over…the weapon remains upright and against my body. I just love it! Thank you TWAW xoxo”

  8. Kim Capehart says:

Will this work for my Glock 26? Do you plan on offering a trigger guard for the G26? If not, any suggestions?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hi Kim,
Yes, we test fit a Glock 17 so the 26 should fit. We did opt for tight retention and it is best to holster you gun while you are not wearing it (as is recommended for all soft holsters). We do also have a trigger shield mold for the Glock 26 and we would just order it custom for you. When you are on the trigger shield page, you will just select “not listed” from the drop-down, choose your draw, and then type in your model of firearm. Thank you Carrie!

  9. Nance says:

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

I would try the Size B

  10. Laura Collins says:

I am plus size will this band ride up while I am wearing it? I have two other brands of belly bands and they are so annoying that I hate wearing them because they ride up

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

Hi Laura! We tried to make this belly band out of material that would sit comfortably on your torso without riding up. However, like with any holster, the only way to know if it will work for you is by giving it a try!

  11. Karen Swedeen says:

How do you wash it? I live in Florida and it is always hot and sticky outside. The sweat would require being able to wash it.

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hi Karen,
The Comfort Carry Belly Band is machine washable and air dry (no dryer).

  12. Debra Robinson says:

What about a trigger guard? My big concern is the trigger getting caught on something and having a discharge of the weapon while I’m wearing it. I do not have a safety on my firearm and this is my #1 concern. Will you be offering a trigger guard moving forward?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hi Debra,
The Well Armed Woman Trigger Shield works great with this holster! This is great for people who want that extra security. Click HERE to read about the trigger shield

  13. Peggy says:

I have a question that I did not see addressed: I live in a northern state where during several months I wear soft ‘silky’ winter underwear tops…will this work over that type of material?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hi Peggy,
Yes, this will work over top of undershirts. Some people prefer to wear them that way all the time.

  14. Amy says:

Os this 4 inches or 5 inches in height? I am fairly short waisted and 5 inch ones tend to shove my stomach up and give me a big gat roll under my clothes.

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hi Amy,
This band is approximately 4.5″ wide

  15. How is it in hot weather?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

Hi Diana, as with any extra material during warmer months you may feel it. During development, I tested it in the Arizona summer heat and it did not bother me! If during the summer or times of high humidity, a great tip is to wear a light tank underneath your belly band or wear it around your hips in summer months to help alleviate this issue.
