I have been teaching the classes and courses for which I am certified for five years. I am a retired optometrist who has been working with and competing with handguns for more than 50 years. I have a passion to help others find the pleasure of working safely with firearms and enjoying a sports community of shooting enthusiasts. In addition to this, I feel a need to help others learn to take care of themselves and their families should a threat arise by imparting awareness and techniques to defend against the threat.
