Heidi has an engaging teaching style that is both educational and inclusive. Coming from a police background (Patrol, Patrol/Narcotics K-9, Tactical), she brings her practical knowledge of firearms and firearm safety to the classroom. She shares these talents with her team at Scotshot LLC to instruct nationally recognized firearms programs, which are well suited to helping individuals become educated and competent with their own or a rented firearm in a relaxed, stress-free environment. Heidi has mentored women in particular in English and Western Riding, enabling them to achieve and often exceed their goals in horsemanship. From home defense to hunting, she is involved in a wide variety of practical firearms techniques and loves to share her experience helping individuals become educated and competent with a firearm.
