I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I got involved with firearms while dealing with a stalker. I feared for my life and knew an order of protection was nothing more than a piece of paper to a criminal so I sought out personal protection. My husband started teaching me what he knew about firearms. I was then introduced to The Well Armed Woman (TWAW) in 2015 and became a chapter leader. That's where my training began. I became a NRA Range Safety Officer and then a NRA Basic Pistol Instructor. Being a chapter leader has driven my passion to help others become more comfortable and confident with firearms. When it comes to firearms, my plan is to be a lifelong learner.
