Are you right handed or left handed?

What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

17 rounds, Fiber Optic Sights, Full Sized, smooth DA trigger, no external safety

Tell us about shooting this gun:

I really enjoy shooting this 9mm.  It is a great size to get a firm grip & both hands solidly on the grip.  For a beginner gun owner it is really nice.

How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?

I have no problem with the slide but I have had no trouble with full sized Semi slides on any brand.  Since full sized both hands are firm on grip.  The barrel has a nice length so it soaks up much of the recoil but still has kick to it, compared to a .22.  Trigger is a very nice DA

How reliable is it?

As of today I have put 500 rounds through this gun in 3 weeks.  I shoot weekly to practice, practice, practice my skills.  NO malfunctions no matter what brand I put in it.  Since I target I go for cheapest & the Aluminum Federal from Wally World works great, 100 rounds for just under $20 is a good deal.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

Does this gun have any specific ammunition requirements? If so, please explain:

I have only used 9 mm or 9 mm luger

What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?

So far nothing.  Shooting is a joy.  I do find Ammo expensive so bought a .22 Revolver & cheap ammo so I can practice my skills a bit more.  .22 ammo, 500 rounds= $36 & 9mm, 100 rounds= $20

Was it easy to take down and clean?

I have only oiled this gun & that was easy.

Would you recommend this gun?

This gun is no longer in production but I would highly recommend the M&P full size.  Great gun.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

Go practice with whatever handgun you decide to purchase.  The full size will make shooting a joy & great for home defense.
