Are you right handed or left handed? Right
What features does this gun have that appealed to you?
Small size, amazing trigger, accurate and easy to shoot.
Tell us about shooting this gun:
I’ve never been a fan of poly pistols or double action, so after trying a few of the popular sub compacts and hating them, I knew this was the one.
How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?
With the extended mag, it’s a good fit. Without, there’s no good place for your pinky. Tritium 3-dot sights ftw. Very easy to rack the slide. Recoil is lighter than plastic pistols.
How reliable is it?
Very except with cheap ammo.
Any problems with any type of ammunition?
It does not like cheap aluminum case target ammo, so pony up for some decent practice rounds. However, that may have been partially a break in issue as the gun was fairly new at the time, and good ammo was hard too find. I have had no issue feeding the two types of hollow points I’ve used: Hornady critical defense and those silly zombie rounds.
What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?
Small magazines make for lots of reloading, but that’s it.
Was it easy to take down and clean?
After a bit of practice, yes. It’s a little awkward until you figure it out and then no trouble.
Would you recommend this gun?
For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?
Best compact conceal carry pistol of the many I have tried, as long as you’re comfortable with single action guns and carrying it cocked and locked.
Anything else you would like to share about the gun?
The 938 is also a tempting option.
