Sig Sauer P365 Usage and Features
Are you right or left-handed?
What features does this gun have that appealed to you?
I bought it because it ‘s small but holds 10 rounds. I also liked that the nitron sites came with it. It also had really good reviews.
Tell us about shooting this gun.
It took me a few rounds to get used to the recoil, but by the time I went through about 25 rounds I got the hang of it and was able to get my groupings closer together. Now I love shooting this gun.
How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?
The recoil is manageable once you get used to it.
How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties, slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)
The gun fits very well in my hand and I am able to reach and use all the controls. I do use the extended 10 round magazines because I feel that I have a better grip than with the flush mags. The magazine release hits the other side of my hand so I have to move it to get the magazine out.
Do you like the sights on this gun?
Love the sights on this gun. Very easy for my eyes to focus on the front site.
How reliable is it?
Very reliable. I’ve put about 1000 rounds through it, no problems with misfires.
Any problems with any type of ammunition?
The gun doesn’t seem to have a preference, it shoots everything I’ve put in it.
Was it easy to take down and clean?
It’s very easy to take down and clean.
Is there anything you dislike about shooting this gun?
Once I got the recoil under control, there isn’t anything I dislike about shooting this gun.
For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?
If you are looking for a great carry, this is one to consider. I do use an IWB holster with a claw and it doesn’t print, and I wear tank tops and t-shirts. The sites make it easy to quickly focus on the front site.
Would you recommend this gun? If no, do you have a preferred gun?
I definitely recommend this gun for concealed carry.
