Are you right or left-handed?
Right Handed
What features does this gun have that appealed to you?
Has a small comfortable grip that fits my hands perfectly. Easy slide and easy to take apart.
Tell us about shooting this gun.
First, trigger pull is a bit hard because has an external hammer. After that trigger is super light. Took some getting used to the easy pull. Trigger very loose and at first, I thought it was broken. Now I love it.
How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?
Almost no recoil. Very manageable.
How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties, slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)
Came with two grips and the small one fits perfectly in my hand. Safety is perfectly placed and easy to use. Slide pull even easier than my Walther CCP. Easy to cock and easy to hold open. Easy to take apart. Trigger pull takes some getting used to.
Do you like the sights on this gun?
Sights are nice. They’re white so they’re easy to see. And they’re adjustable. Thinking of upgrading to the green sights. My husbands S&W Victory has them and they’re great.
How reliable is it?
First time I shot it, it jammed constantly. But tried different ammo and haven’t had a problem with jams. Had a few misfires but probably more ammo probs.
Any problems with any type of ammunition?
First used Remington Thunderbolts and had constant jams. Changed to Federal’s and haven’t had any issues with jamming.
Was it easy to take down and clean?
Takedown was a breeze. The lever to flip down is a little stiff but I’m hoping it will lose a bit over time. Easy to clean.
Is there anything you dislike about shooting this gun?
Still getting used to the trigger pull.
For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?
Great gun for plinking. Great for small hands. Easy enough to use with arthritis.
Would you recommend this gun? If no, do you have a preferred gun?
I would recommend this gun. It’s easy and reliable. But I love my husband’s S&W Victory. It’s too big for concealed carry but it has a great balance and consistent trigger pull and the sights are amazing.
