Glock 43 Usage & Features

Primary Use:

Concealed Carry

Are you right handed or left handed?

Right

What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

Small enough for concealed carry. Moderate recoil. Fits my hand well. Easy to shoot..

Tell us about shooting this gun:

I have practiced frequently and am able to shoot within a 2″ radius at the target.

How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?

The Glock 42 was to small for my hand and after trying the 43, the 1/2″ difference really helped. The sights are easy to align and I have the version with “night sights”. I have a problem racking slides, and am unable to do this on larger guns. A little practice and I can do this well with the 43. The trigger pull and recoil is moderate, but I am able to maintain control of the gun and get a small circle with taking my time. Still practicing with rapid fire.

How reliable is it?

Very Reliable.

Does this gun have any specific ammunition requirements? If so, please explain:

Takes 9 mm.

What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?

Love the gun.

Was it easy to take down and clean?

Have not done this yet.

Would you recommend this gun?

Yes.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

Try it out first, Learn how it fits your grip. It must be comfortable to fire.

Anything else you would like to share about the gun?

It is slim and so far I have worn it in a belly band and the specially made purple holster that is sold by WAW. It also fits in the CC purses and fanny packs easily.
