Are you right handed or left handed?

What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

Reversible magazine release. Concealable.

Tell us about shooting this gun:

I absolutely LOVE shooting GLOCKs! I get nice tight groups with this firearm.

How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?

The Glock 26 fits my hand perfectly (I use the beavertail back strap). The factory sights are adequate. Slide is easy to rack and the trigger pull is decent. Not a lot of recoil, which was surprising considering this is a smaller firearm.

How reliable is it?

Extremely reliable. I’ve not had any malfunctions and I’ve shot a lot of rounds through it.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

No issues at all. I can run 115gr with no problems, however, I usually train with 124gr.

Does this gun have any specific ammunition requirements? If so, please explain:

Do not use reloaded, remanufactured, or hand loaded ammunition. Only use high quality commercially manufactured ammunition in the same caliber as your (Note: Use of reloaded, remanufactured, or handloaded ammunition will void the warranty).

What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?

The only thing I dislike is that I don’t get enough time to shoot it!

Was it easy to take down and clean?

This Glock 26 is easy to take down and clean.

Would you recommend this gun?

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

Even though I LOVE GLOCKs, ALWAYS go try a firearm before you buy one. Never let a man recommend one for you. I made two buying mistakes taking a man’s recommendation.

Hi Connie, there are guns that are for left-handed shooters. We have a gun finder that may help you narrow down some options! The Well Armed Woman Gun Finder

Anyway, my grouping was best with the 22 and 45, surprisingly. But the 45 would definitely be too much for me for frequent shooting and 22 not recommended for self defense. With my research glock 19 gen 4 has been coming up. However I didn t shoot any handguns today that were double stack and I m a bit concerned about that. I have fairly small fingers and an average to slightly below average palm size (for a woman). Do you think the width of this would be an issue? I will if course try out a gun before buying but trying to narrow down a list then reach out to local ranges to see what they carry. Also, in general do you have any recommendations I should look into?
