Beretta Nano Usage & Features

Primary Use:

Concealed Carry

Are you right handed or left handed?

Right

What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

Smooth exterior no snag design. Fits easily in my small hands and easy to carry and conceal.

Tell us about shooting this gun:

Smaller guns to have a bit of a snap at first but I put a couple of 100 rounds through it each month since purchasing it, so I am accustomed to it. The 3 dots sights are good and make it easy for me to stay on target.

How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?

It fits my hand very well but the slide is not as easy to rack as say a Ruger .380. I’ve found that the more it’s been fired, the easier it has become to rack the slide. The gun has a trigger safety so the pull is longer, which I actually prefer for safety’s sake.

How reliable is it?

I’ve found the gun to be very reliable.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

I have not had any issues with various ammunition, except I purchased some surplus ammo on line (I think it was Egyptian surplus) and my gun would not function as well. As to Winchester white box and others, no problems.

Does this gun have any specific ammunition requirements? If so, please explain:

Beretta suggests the use of 124 grain ammo. I’ve used that, 115 grain and 50 grain high velocity ammo with no problems.

What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?

It sounds strange but it’s my left wrist that hurts after putting a few hundred rounds through it at the range (I’m right handed.) I do have a mild case of carpal tunnel so I attribute it to that.

Was it easy to take down and clean?

It does not have a lever for take down. I use a shell casing for that. Very easy to do and the gun is easy to clean.

Would you recommend this gun?

Yes.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

It’s a solidly built gun that is easy to conceal and operate.
