What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

Its small, and can use a high caliber ammunition.

Tell us about shooting this gun.

Its accurate but the trigger is heavy. Its recoil is heavy but goes straight back rather than up. It shoots well up to 35 feet and then it gets iffy.

How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?

The recoil is hard but goes back not up. The recoil is lighter with the .38 as expected.

How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties, slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)

It fits a woman’s hand easy. The grip isn’t real soft but doesn’t slip. I have the double action so I didn’t have to fuss with a hammer. My hands are small and it was ok. The trigger pull is heavy but you can always alter it if you don’t like it. Its easy to load and unload. It sits well in a holster.

Do you like the sights on this gun?

I don’t enjoy the sights but they are accurate. I had to learn to rise the front up to line up with the rear groove, but once I got that it was okay.

How reliable is it?

Its a very reliable revolver. I’ve had no malfunctions or misfired with it.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

It shoots .357, and .38 just fine. It shaves lead with the .38 around a barrier, but bad enough to be anything other than startling.

Was it easy to take down and clean?

Very easy to take down and clean.

Is there anything you dislike about shooting this gun?

The recoil is hard like most revolvers. The trigger pull is heavy. I had rubber bands on the trigger for a week to smooth it out a bit because I didn’t want to alter the trigger. But my biggest dislike was the short barrel limiting my distances for accuracy. Its just the nature of shooting a 2 inch barrel.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

Its a reliable, solid revolver. The frame won’t bend. Its pretty with the stainless steel finish. Its compact and easy to use, especially in the double action. But you might want to get the trigger altered if you don’t like a heavy pull. I have a strong grip so it never bothered me.

Would you recommend this gun? If no, do you have a preferred gun?

I would recommend this as a back up or wheel gun. I prefer my 9mm semi auto because of the higher round capacity. You have to carry speed loaders with this gun and it does only shoot 5 rounds at a time.
