Primary Use:

Are you right handed or left handed?

Right

What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

Able to shoot 45 Long Colt ammo or .410 bore 2 & 1/2″ shotgun shells. Love the look and the feel.

Tell us about shooting this gun:

Interesting revolver to shoot as the recoil isn’t upwards motion as normally felt, but instead, I suppose because of the 3″ Cylinder in conjunction with the 3″ barrel, the recoil is rearward motion. Very accurate and fun to shoot.

How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?

Fits my hand great. Sights easy to see. Cylinder opens easily, loading and unloading quick and easy. Easy trigger pull. Not too light, not too heavy. Recoil more rearward motion than upward.

How reliable is it?

Have shot about 100 rounds of 410 buckshot and about 50 rounds of 45’s with no problems.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

Used several brands of ammo with no problem. However, after shooting several a couple dozen shotgun shells the cylinder does get dirty and the ammo is a little tighter. But if I’m using it target practicing I usually have a q-Tip handy so I run it thru quickly and keep going.

Does this gun have any specific ammunition requirements? If so, please explain:

None. Well, none other than the 410 shells have to be 2.5″ and the 45’s have to be long Colts.

What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?

Nothing to dislike.

Was it easy to take down and clean?

Haven’t taken it apart yet but easy to clean as is.

Would you recommend this gun?

Yes.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

Don’t get this for concealed carry. It’s too big. It I have it for home protection and for when I’m in the woods as the buckshot is great for snake protection.

Anything else you would like to share about the gun?

It is a beautiful weapon. Reliable. Easy to load. Recoil doesn’t jerk your hand upwards. Quite impressive looking and since it shoots shotgun shells I feel so well protected with it by my side.
