Primary Use: Concealed Carry
Are you right handed or left handed? Right
What features does this gun have that appealed to you?
Manual Safety, Reliable Manufacturer, Concealable, High Caliber
How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?
Trigger pull is firm. It fits nicely in my hand. Sights are accurate. Racking the slide is moderately difficult. Locking the slide open was difficult for me at first. It took a bit of practice. I am right-handed, but I have to use the left-handed method to lock the slide open. The recoil was a little more than I initially expected, but has become very comfortable with practice.
How reliable is it? Very reliable. I initially had some issues with misfeeds with the 7 round magazine. A gun instructor later determined that the collar was not snug, which prevented the magazine from being fully seated.
Would you recommend this gun? Yes
For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?
I Have grown to really enjoy using this gun. I had to work through some issues in the beginning with difficulty racking, locking the slide, and loading ammo into the magazines. The magazines have broken in, but I still use an uplula to get the last few rounds in. I feel confident carrying this caliber in a concealable package. I would not recommend this to beginners, though.
