Concealed Carry

Are you right handed or left handed?

Left

What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

Snag-free profile. Lightweight. Very concealable.

Tell us about shooting this gun:

I was surprised by the recoil. Definitely not for the uninitiated shooter. My accuracy is not as good with this firearm compared to my others.

How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?

I have big hands and it feels small in mine. I prefer to use the extended mag so that it better fits my hand. The factory sights are adequate. Racking the slide was a little more difficult than I expected. Long trigger pull due to the trigger safety. The recoil is a bit more which was surprising.

How reliable is it?

My son has one as his CC and he loves it. Very reliable.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

Yes!! I had many FTE and FTF issues using anything lighter than 124gr. You will also experience the same issues with improper grip (limp wristing) but mine were due to ammo.

Does this gun have any specific ammunition requirements? If so, please explain:

After contacting Beretta after my repeated FTE and FTF issues, I was told they recommend 124gr ammo.

What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?

The recoil and I’m just not as accurate shooting this firearm as I am with my others.

Was it easy to take down and clean?

VERY simple and easy to break down and clean.

Would you recommend this gun?

No.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

As a woman, PLEASE go try a variety of firearms to find the one that YOU like and fits YOU! I bought this on a recommendation from a man about how ‘perfect’ it would be for me. Not so much.

Anything else you would like to share about the gun?

I would say try it, you MIGHT like it. Don’t let my recommendation sway you to pass it up. However, the key is to shoot one to know for yourself.
