Tell us about shooting this gun:

This gun had the worst trigger that I’ve ever used. It was very, very, very long pull. It fired well past what most guns need to fire in the pull. The trigger was very,very, very gritty, much more than I would expect, and significantly more than what people complain about in the M&P P9/40 pistols.

How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?

The fit was ok. The sights were fine. It was not difficult to rack. The trigger pull was the worst I have ever shot, and I have shot many. The recoil was manageable and what I would expect.

How reliable is it?

The gun was not reliable. In two 6-round magazines, it had issues with 3-5 rounds. My husband shot it too, and he had the same amount of failures to fire, eject, feed, etc.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

No ammo issues.

What do you dislike about shooting this gun, if anything?

This gun was not reliable for both me and my husband.

Was it easy to take down and clean?

The take down is easy.

Would you recommend this gun?

No.

Rent it first.

I’m disappointed in this Bodyguard.  I was surprised. Now I know why there are mixed reviews about it
