Home Defense

Are you right or left handed?

Right Handed

What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

It was small and lightweight. I have small hands and I’m still working on my upper body strength so I needed something I felt comfortable holding.

Tell us about shooting this gun.

This was my first fun. If you are looking to buy your first gun, DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT get this gun! It is virtually impossible to shoot. The trigger is so heavy I could only actually shoot it about 3 times and not even consecutively. It feels like you’re pulling it all the way and it doesn’t shoot. I found it much easier and comfortable to shoot my fiancé’s smith and Wesson M&P 45 shield.

How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?

It’s kind of strong but not terrible.

How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties, slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)

The trigger is super heavy. Not at all easy to pull.

Do you like the sights on this gun?

It’s okay. Not my favorite I’ve shot.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

If it is your first gun, do not purchase it. Two NRA workers told me their wives had the same issue and never touched the gun again.

Would you recommend this gun? If no, do you have a preferred gun?

NO! Literally anything else.

  1. I have a S&W Ladysmith .357 and I enjoy shooting it. The trigger pull is heavy, but I have gotten used to it. My first handgun was a Kimber Micro 380 BelAir. It is my favorite, but i enjoy shooting them both.
