The BEST Gun Belt For Women

The safest and most advantageous carrying of a firearm requires a stable platform from which to draw. A successful and optimal concealed carry system also requires fast and easy access. NOTHING can provide these things like a sturdy belted waistband. So what are the best gun belts for women?

As a gun carrying woman, I know not only the importance of a strong and sturdy gun belt, but just how extremely difficult it can be to find the right one! There are so many options out there (mostly styled for men, by the way), as well as so many different important factors and opinions to take in and consider. Finding the right belt can seem impossible. Add to this the very real aversion that many women have to wearing belts in the first place, and you’re left with an important topic to delve into.

However, I have come across something that I think solves some of what might cause our distaste for belts and I had to share with everyone!

Introducing…

Introducing your new secret weapon when it comes to concealed carry, Precise Fit Rachet Belt in both nylon and leather. Yes, it’s a belt-but boy is it a “different” kind of belt; one that uses ratchet technology. These belts give you a truly custom fit each and every day! No more holes, no more contorting and squeezing into your belt! This it the best gun belt and will be the last belt you buy! Even if your waistline changes or the depth or thickness of the holster you choose to wear changes, you are good to go, only one belt is needed.

Why these belts are the best gun belts for women

  • Ability to adjust belt size as little as 1/4″ at a time
  • Custom fit every time you wear it
  • Stainless steel reinforced buckle screws for reliability
  • High-quality belt material to keep your holster in place
  • No-stress buying!

These belts give you a truly custom fit each and every day!

Dreaded Muffin Top

Many women don’t like to be “bound” in a belt and find them uncomfortable. We are already bound in our bra’s, leaving little appeal or any desire to add more constriction to our outfits! I don’t know about you, but my waistline can fluctuate regularly. Whether it’s water-weight or the never-ending ups and downs of my weight-loss, the belt that fit me last month, might not fit me this month.

For some reason, my waistline never seems able to match up the prong with that one perfect hole in the belt that IS my sweet spot of tight enough but not too tight. I find myself either with pants belted too loose or I’m sucking in until I look like a busted can of biscuits to get the prong into that necessary hole! If I do manage to get to that hole, it creates a whole new issue, “Muffin Top.” Can you relate?

A New Innovative Technology Eliminates Muffin Top

This ratchet system solves this issue and is the way of comfort and the future! The holes in traditional belts are spaced by 1″ whereas this new belt allows for a much more precise fit with 1/4″ adjustments, not holes. This belt fits YOU, not pre-punched holes! Best part of all, this design eliminates muffin top!

Another great thing, and why these are the best gun belts, is its perfect stiffness. You can wear these belts all day with your holster in tow, and know that the belt is staying put. But they are not super stiff, where you’d suffer through the day feeling like you have a steel band wrapped around your waist. Providing the strong foundation for your EDC system that you are looking for.

Tried and Tested

My staff and I have both worn and tested these belts and are confident to say you cannot go wrong with them, either the nylon or the leather. The Nylon style is great for everyday wear as well as at the range. The Leather options are so sleek you can wear them with any casual or formal attire. They are also designed with simple minimalist style in mind. The buckles are slim and add no bulk or bulges to your waistband. If you carry concealed, no one would be able to pick you out of a crowd.

Inconspicuous and fashionable!

Don’t worry about figuring out which size to buy. They don’t come in preset sizes, you make your own! On the reverse side of these belts, inches are measured and printed on the back. Simply cut away the excess, leaving a few inches for any fluctuation in weight or holster size, and you have a custom-fitted belt!

Then, attach the buckle, being sure to fasten the 2 provided screws into the belt through the buckle which along with the buckles 9 “teeth” provides 1,000+lbs of pull without failure! You could be hanging by your belt and rest assured that your gun isn’t going anywhere! (Trust us, we tried it!)

A Good Gun Belt Is The Best Way To Go

Remember, a solid platform is required to holster your gun. A comfortable, solid gun belt is essential if you carry your firearm either on or in your waistband. An every-day belt from a big box store might be able to hold up your pants, but once you start adding on a few pounds of plastic and metal, that belt will fail. A strong gun-owning woman needs a strong gun belt, and trust me, these belts are STRONG!

I am a total newbie. I have no idea of what my preferred carry method will be. So I am looking for versatility and functionality. I found this site while browsing. Eventually I got around to ordering 3 holsters. Purse/IWB/OWB. Then began the great belt search. I eventually found this belt and read about it on different sites. It is as advertised. I was doubtful about the all day comfort claim. I can vouch for that. I’ve worn this belt for 24 hrs continuously. Yes, even when asleep. I have put it high, mid and hip position. I have worn it next to skin. The ease of getting that perfect tightness wonderful. At their site, I found woman specific styles. So future purchases are in the future.

Both of my old firearms instructors recommended I get a Kore ratchet belt a few years back and now its all I wear. They still work and look fantastic. It is one of the few products that exceeded my expectations. I got my husband wearing them too. I have a range ver. which is 1.75 wide with molle and everyday belt is 1.5 wide in tan. They actually have a lot of options and from what I read they were the first to make these kind of ratcheting type belts for firearms.

I’m a guy with a waist and hips, so contoured belts fit best. Are these belts straight or contoured?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      These belts are straight

I have an extreme issue with buying clothes and belts. I am 5’3″ and round shaped. I do not have curves. I definitely am interested in the nylon belt(?) I am wondering about how breathable this product is. On 100 degree days my leather belt gets hot and I am readjusting it as it expands/loosens(?). If I tighten my belt more, I find sweat marks or heat rashes when I remove the belt.

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hello,
This belt is reinforced so I would not consider it to be breathable. However, with the Precise fit line of belts, you are able to adjust it in 1/4″ increments so finding a comfortable fit is easy. There is no more over-tightening or too loose with predetermined belt hole adjustments.

I’m interested in the nylon ratchet belt in grey but have a question.
I need it to be able to fit my low rise jeans where the measurement around my hips is 33″ and I need it to fit my high riding Girl’s With Guns outfit (the pants part of course, not the jacket) that I call my “Apocalypse suit” where the measurement around my waist is 26″.
Will I be able to cut it that small and have that much play (amount of ratchets) in between? My weight never changes by any more than a few pounds, so I would not need anymore than 35″ in length in my lifetime. I’m already 57 and weigh the same as I did in high school, 100lbs.I have weighed up to 110lbs before though, that’s why I say up to 35″ max considering my XDs in my Sticky.
Please let me know. I’m on the hunt for a great CC belt.
    Thank you!

    1. Warehouse says:

      Hi Natasha,
You should be able to have enough paly with the amount of ratchets. I would of course dry fit before your cut, but with our measuring tape we found you should be good.
      Thanks for your question!

Does hour belt have a steel core for strength?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hi Jenni,
The Belt includes two stainless-steel set screws for added insurance in locking the buckle down onto the belt. The combination of these two set screws along with the 9 teeth of the buckle allows for a 1,000lb+ pull without failure.

  8. Vicki Hall says:

How wide is the Nylon belt?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

Hi Vicki, the nylon belt is 1 3/8″ wide.

I’ve never paid so much for a belt in my life, but it is worth every penny! I got the black leather option. It is classy enough for formal wear, yet works with shorts and t-shirt too. The best part about it is the precise fit you get even on “fat” and “skinny” days. Oh, and it’s also extremely sturdy, perfectly suited for securely holding my Shield 40 holster.

Can you wear over a skirt

    1. Elizabeth says:

I am left-handed so I generally put on my belt opposite so the buckle is on the right side.
Would that be a problem with this belt buckle?

      1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

        Hello,
If you switched the belt around, the unlatching mechanism would just change orientation. As long as you are ok with that, it should work just fine!

  11. Monica says:

Very interested in this belt. What is the overall length?

    1. Carrie Lightfoot says:

      Hi Monica,

the overall length is 50″ please visit our product page for more detailed information Click Here
