Primary Use

Concealed Carry

Are You Right or Left Handed?

Right

What features does this gun have that appealed to you?

Small. Easy trigger pull. Easy to ratchet

Tell us about shooting this gun.

I love shooting it! I take it to the range often.

Please share: How does it fit your hand, how do you like the sights, how difficult is it to rack the slide, how would you describe the trigger pull, and how would you describe the recoil?

I have small hands so it fits great. Sights are great. It’s right on the money. Racking is very smooth which is often a problem for me. I have a Sig 9mm also and the Kimber is easier to rack. Trigger pull is great, no stress on my fingers as I do have carpal tunnel syndrome. Recoil is good, it’s a little heavier so naturally the recoil is better than the polymer guns like the LCP.

How reliable is it?

Very!

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

None

Was it easy to take down and clean? Please share.

Very easy to disassemble

Would you recommend this gun?

Yes

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

Great for ladies great for concealed carry. Beautiful gun as well

Anything else you would like to share about the gun?

Magazine is very hard to load. I bought a loader to help with that

I have large hands and have arthritis and bone spurs on my trigger finger. I am looking at the Kimber9 as my 380 trigger space is too small with the issues with my finger. Any opinions? Thank you

Hi Lisa, I think the Glock 42 and some of the new Walther CCP M2 both .380’s and both have “spacious” trigger guards. The other one to maybe look at is the Smith & Wesson EZ Shield .380. I hope this helps!!

I just bought a Kimber Micro 9. And the reviews for female carry with this handgun are limited. I am a tiny framed female (5’2″, 98lbs) and don’t think I have found a handgun that i feel comfortable with like the Micro 9. I actually like that this is single action making the trigger pull easier and smoother, it’s got the easiest slide. Thank you for review.
