What features does this gun have that appealed to you?
I like the paddle mag release because it allows me to drop the magazine without re-positioning my hand. I can use my trigger finger or middle finger to do it.

Tell us about shooting this gun.
My H&K P30SK was great straight out of the box. I generally have to upgrade the sights or trigger or something to make a carry gun perfect for me, but I’ve made no changes on this one. I even like the standard phosphorescent three-dot sights better than tritium night sights.

How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?
The recoil is manageable. I had to readjust my grip to accommodate for it, but now I don’t even notice it and love shooting the gun.
How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties, slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)

The P30SK fits my hand like a glove. It comes with 3 different size side-panels and backstraps, so I can make it fit my hand. It’s ambidextrous with a slide stop and paddle-style mag release on both sides. of the gun.

Do you like the sights on this gun?
The three-dot phosphorescent sights really pop in daylight and at night. They’re much easier for my mature eyes to see during the daylight.

How reliable is it?
I’ve never had any problem with this gun. It always functions straight out of the box.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?
It is not ammo picky. I buy cheap and expensive ammo, and I’ve had no problems. I choose to use brass.

Was it easy to take down and clean?
Yes, the gun is simple to take down and clean.

Is there anything you dislike about shooting this gun?
There is nothing I dislike about shooting this gun. It’s fun to shoot! It’s so reliable and easy to place shots down range where I want them.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?
Everyone that has shot my gun loved it. Sometimes it takes new shooters a few minutes to get used to the high bore axis and recoil.

Would you recommend this gun? If no, do you have a preferred gun?
I would absolutely recommend this gun to anyone that wants a reliable high-quality gun to carry.
