What features does this gun have that appealed to you?
This was my very first handgun. It was easy to learn to shoot accurately with this model. It is easy to fire and reload.

This gun is easy to shoot accurately with very little recoil.
How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?
The recoil is very easily managed with a nice firm grip.
How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties, slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)
I have large hands for a woman and fairly long fingers. The grips that came with the gun were a little small so I changed them to a little bit larger size.
Do you like the sights on this gun?
The sites on this gun are easy to use. I had no problems ling it up and having an accurate shot.
How reliable is it?
I have never had a mechanical issue with the Lady Smith.
Any problems with any type of ammunition?
I have had no issues with any ammo used with this gun.
Was it easy to take down and clean?
It is very easy to disassemble, clean and reassemble.
Is there anything you dislike about shooting this gun?
The only drawback to this gun is that it only holds 5 rounds.
For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?
This is a gun that is easy to learn how to handle and care for a handgun. Also, it is easy to become proficient with it.
Would you recommend this gun? If no, do you have a preferred gun?
I would recommend this gun in particular for someone new to shooting handguns. It is easy to become proficient in its use, accuracy, and care.
i have a ruger, lcp 38 special. i am left handed, it’s quite accurate, slight recoil. easy to carry in any of my cc purses, (purchased from the well armed woman). i like it very much. Rugers are super dependable, in my personal experience.
