It felt great in my hands but it was jamming, failure to feed, failure to eject and super finicky about ammo. Did I say Finicky? I tried every 22LR ammo I could find. Still no good. Sent it back to Ruger. They supposedly tweaked it…. still wasn’t performing correctly. I traded it in for the Ruger Mark VI. Fun 22 to plink with and zero issues.

How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?

Yes. Very.

I shot one the other day. I ran CCI brand thru it. Not one jam after 100 rounds. It’s a nice gun. I would recommend. If you run cheap ammo thru the gun it was leave alot of residue which will cause the gun to jam. CCI is the cleanest on the market.

I also had a lot of trouble with the Ruger 22 and had to return it to Ruger twice for a slack trigger. But I still like it because the slide is easy, it’s light to carry and, in spite of my friends making fun of me, I’m fond of the rose gold color.

Not familiar with the Ruger but my Siq Sauer is picky about the brand of ammo you use, Does not like Remington but Federal works well. Might try a different brand ammo.
