It fits my hand size well. The sites on it are not just 2 pieces lined up but an open end box style near the grip, and then a single site in the center at the end of the barrel.

Tell us about shooting this gun.

The range master at the indoor range I go to, after see me shoot the first time, just grinned stating I will have no difficulty passing the concealed carry shooting portion of the NC concealed carry class. The next time I practiced, I used the targets that are used for concealed carry class. When I first signed in to the range, the range master held up a body target asking me what I saw looking at the used target. I remarked that the targets shots were grouped at delibert locations. He just smiled at me and told me I was correct. After my first day at the range, the range master looked over my targets, noted the distance and told me I would have no problems passing the shooting portion of the concealed carry class.
I was raised around guns. My father is a retired Army Apache helicopter pilot. I was taught to shoot revolvers by him and retired CID Army, turned civilian law enforcement when I was 13 or 14. Back then, we had revolvers. I was taught to know where each shot went. Sometimes they had bullets in all 6 slots other times not. Just to see my reaction. I always had to call my shots locations. And they both checked. This is my first semiautomatic pistol. I still remember the training I received. My Mom’s gun that was used during my handgun training is a .357 magnum. She and I can out shoot my father with it. When My Mom saw the targets I used for my second practice, her only comment was nice grouping. This particular semiautomatic fits my hand well, the site setup is comfortable for me. Nice and smooth firing every time. I was also taught to always clean and maintain my weapons. You don’t want it to be fouled up in a life and death situation.

How would you describe the recoil, is it manageable?

The recoil is very lite and manageable. I am disabled. I have Degenerative Spinal Arthritis with 3 partially torn disc’s and several other physical disabilities. I also have a Service Dog.

How does it fit your hand, are the controls of this gun easy to use? (Safeties, slide pull, magazine release, trigger pull, etc.)

The slide pull is a bit tight at first. But with some use, and cleaning and a small amount of oil, it does not feel as tight as it did.

Do you like the sights on this gun?

The sites on this model are great.

How reliable is it?

I always have no problems with getting tight groupings in practice.

Any problems with any type of ammunition?

So far I have not had any problems with the two different target loads I have used.

Was it easy to take down and clean?

At first, all I had was the directions from the manual that came withe the gun. But after asking for for some help from the guys in the gun purchasing area where the indoor range is at, I have no difficulties taking it down to clean after each practice. I was taught to maintain my weapon regularly and after each range practice.

Is there anything you dislike about shooting this gun?

No. I actually enjoy shooting this gun.

For someone considering this gun, what would you tell them?

If you have never used firearms, or any weapons training, take a class, or get private instruction.

Would you recommend this gun? If no, do you have a preferred gun?

Yes, I would recommend this gun.
