Cam & Co. - Carrie Lightfoot: National Influence of The Well Armed Woman

The Well Armed Woman was founded by Carrie Lightfoot, an Arizona resident who worked in a bad part of town. She learned to shoot for self-defense, and launched a national organization for like-minded women when she found there were so few resources to help them. It now has nearly 230 chapters in 49 states, and Lightfoot is considered to be one of the 100 most influential gun rights advocates in America. She says that the spirit of sisterhood among participants is wonderful to see, and acting as good ambassadors for gun rights is an important part of the organization.
